Human ResourcesOur philosophy for HR comes from AlliedSignal, an academy company for that function. HR has two distinct disciplines: HR admin (pay and benefits and on-boarding) and strategic HR (organizational behavior, organizational development and general business support). Our HR generalists work as your director of human resources, managing (but not performing) HR admin done by the office manger and provide strategic HR as your business partner.
Around the time you hire your fourth or fifth employee, it’s time to start building some HR infrastructure. We’ll help with a comp plan, an immediate impact awards plan, and we’ll implement a performance appraisal system. We’ll grow with you until you need a full-time HR generalist (about 50 to 100 employees).
